Dr Kasra (Kas) Raufian is a highly skilled General Surgeon with special interest and extensive training
and expertise in various types of hernia, breast, thyroid, parathyroid and laparoscopic operations.
In 2006, after graduating with Doctorate degree in Medicine in Iran, over nearly a decade, he gradually
progressed and developed his expertise in advanced surgical training. Kas achieved General Surgery
Board Certificate in 2013 and subsequently worked as a consultant surgeon until 2016 before moving
to Australia.
Since re-locating to Australia, he passed a year of postgraduate training in Breast/Endocrine &
Melanoma Surgery in North NSW and two more years of advanced Laparoscopic and Hernia surgery
training in Metro North Health Hospital and Services (Redcliffe Hospital) that helped Dr Raufian to
attain proficiency in these fields. Eventually, after achieving Fellowship of Royal Australasian College
of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2019, Dr Raufian appointed as a Consultant General Surgeon in Redcliffe
Hospital and joined North-side General Surgeons, which is a reputable established General/Breast/
Endocrine/Laparoscopic surgery practice in northern suburbs of Brisbane and Moreton Bay regions.
