Bio

Dr Edmund Kang earned his Bachelor of Medical Science and dual Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees from the University of Tasmania in 2009. Following his internship and residency in Tasmania, he relocated to Auckland, where he gained valuable surgical experience in General Surgery, Orthopaedics, and Plastic Surgery. In 2014, Dr Kang moved to Brisbane, gaining significant experience and expertise in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. He successfully completed the Advanced Emergency Medicine Training Program. 

Dr Kang is passionate about working collaboratively with patients from diverse backgrounds. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality care and invests time in building meaningful relationships with his patients. His areas of special interest include cardiovascular health, chronic disease management, musculoskeletal medicine, emergency medicine, and skin cancer medicine. Committed to lifelong learning, he has completed both postgraduate Certificate of Dermoscopy and Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine (SCCA).

Beyond his professional life, Dr Kang enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is also an avid runner, regularly participating in long-distance races.
