Billing Policy

EQMS wish to confirm the below billing policy:

Eatons Quality Medical and Skin Cancer Centre is a mixed billing practice. The following patients are still bulk billed:

  • Children under 16 years
  • Concession/pension card holders – IF attended the practice prior to 1st September 2023
  • DVA Card Holders – Gold and white with covered condition

Private fees apply for all other patients. Please see our fees below:

Short Consultation (Item 3): $50.00 Rebate of $19.60 Out of pocket $62.85
Standard Consultation (Item 23): $80.00 Rebate of $42.85 Out of pocket $37.15
Long Consultation (Item 36): $125.00 Rebate of $82.90 Out of pocket $42.10
Extended Consultation (Item 44): $185.00 Rebate of $122.15 Out of pocket $62.85

Consultations before 8am on weekdays will incur a private fee per below:

Standard Consultation: $92.95 Rebate of $55.80 Out of pocket $37.15
Long Consultation: $137.80 Rebate of $95.70 Out of pocket $42.10

 

Mental Health Consult: $131.70 Rebate of $81.70 Out of pocket $50.00
Mental Health Care Plan: $153.70 Rebate of $103.70 Out of pocket $50.00

 

Please note there may be extra fees (e.g., procedures, biopsies, dressings etc.)

Fee for Non-Attendence: $30.00
