Dr Hampton graduated from Otago University (New Zealand) in 2011. He worked in a variety of medical and surgical specialties as a Junior doctor and went on to complete his general practice fellowship training with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2018. He has now also been awarded Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
In 2019 he decided to move to Brisbane to further his interest in skin cancer medicine and surgery. As a General Practitioner, he likes to manage all health needs for all ages and he enjoys the variety of his day to day work. He has particular interests in chronic condition management, men's health and skin cancer.
Dr Hampton is accredited with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, holding advanced qualifications in skin cancer surgery and dermoscopy. He is confident in performing a range of skin cancer procedures including skin flap and skin graft surgery.
